The House Party Leader is regarded as the Chief Spokesperson for that party within The House of Representatives and is responsible for leading those Representatives.
Selection Process
The Selection Process for the role of House Party Leader begins at either the first session of a term or whenever the office is found vacant. The role is electable by only the Representatives that serve as party of that party. To be elected as a House Party Leader an individual must be elected by a majority of the House Party caucus (group of party representatives) as well as being a member of that House Caucus.
