The Vice President of the United States (VPOTUS) is the 2nd highest-ranking member in the game. Its powers include being able to attend Cabinet meetings, and to join Senate Sessions and break ties on Legislation within the Senate. The role was added in the Oath of Office Advice & Consent (v3.0) update.

Information

Selection Process

The Vice President is currently the only role that is exclusively given by the President. At the start of each term, you can opt into the ability to be chosen as the Vice President. From there, the President can choose who his Vice President will be, and they will stay as Vice President until the end of the term unless the President resigns or leaves the game, in which the Vice President will automatically become the new President until the end of the term.

Daily Schedule

As the Vice President, your day is split up into 5 sessions:

White House Meeting

During the White House Meeting, you'll be able to discuss with the President and the White House Staff about the day ahead of you, including things such as the National Issue, Legislation, and more. This meeting is typically held in the Oval Office.

Leadership Meeting

The Leadership Meeting is held in the Roosevelt Room, and the other people present include the Speaker of the House, President Pro Tempore, White House Chief of Staff, and the Legislative Director. The topic during this meeting is usually about the Legislative Branch in general and concerns you and the President have about the Global Statistics.

Cabinet Meeting

The Cabinet Meeting is all about the National Issue; each of the five currently-in-game Secretaries will convene in the Cabinet Room, along with the White House Chief of Staff and National Security Adviser. While the President has the final say on what decision the country will make on the National Issue, each present member has the ability to talk about their preferred option.

Senate Session

The Senate Session is held on the Senate Floor and is all about the current Legislation that the Senate needs to vote on. While the Vice President doesn't get a direct vote, your main voting power in the Senate is having the ability to break ties. Whichever one you click on, the yellow bar over the voting UI will swap between whichever you vote on. This signifies that, in the case of a tie, whichever you voted for will be chosen.

Social Hour

The Social Hour includes everyone in the game and is either a simple talking area, such as the President's Gala, or the State of the Union Address. Not much important occurs here, it's just a roleplay session where you can talk with others and give speeches.
