The House of Representatives is the lower chamber of the United States Congress. The House is charged with the responsibility of making and passing federal legislation, known as bills, alongside the Senate. The House of Representatives was added in the Advice & Consent (v3.0) update.

Speaker of the House edit edit source
The Speaker of the House is elected by the House of Representatives, whoever gets the most votes wins, in the result of a tie, both candidates will advance to a tie-breaker round. If the previous SOTH resigns, leaves the game or has their office vacated, a new election will occur at the next house session.
House Party Leader edit edit source
The House Party Leader serves as the chief spokespersons for their respective political parties.
House Party Whip edit edit source
The House Party Whip is the senator whose task is to ensure party discipline in a legislature. Whips are the party's "enforcers".

There are 14 Representatives in-game, all coming from the 8 official states. In relation to their population, seats are distributed based on population. Some states have a single representatives whereas others have several.
The names of each Representative role is as follows:

- Representative for Cascadia’s 2nd Congressional District (Rep. CA-2)
- Representative for Carolina’s 1st Congressional District (Rep. CR-1)

- Representative for New England’s 1st Congressional District (Rep. NE-1)

Sergeant at Arms of the House of Representatives edit edit source
Sergeant at Arms of the House of Representatives is a gamepass role available through purchase of the Advice & Consent gamepass. The main duties & responsibilities of the Sergeant at Arms is to assist in maintaining order in the chamber during its session ensure that compliance to the rules is being upheld. In Oath of Office the role is currently only roleplay based without any tools to assist in the duties it must carry out.
Selection process edit edit source
The selection process occurs during Day 1. This process is designed to choose a Speaker of the House in addition to the House Party Leaders and Whips of each party. It consists of three elections, one for each position. Each election is composed of two voting blocks. Firstly, each representative will cast their vote for a representative of their choice, the two most voted representatives will advance to a second round where they are the only available options. Each representative will cast their vote again and whoever wins the duel is selected for that position. Note that Independents and opposing party representatives can't vote for House Party Leaders and Whips from another party.
