The Secretary of Commerce, known as the SECCOM, is responsible promoting of National and foreign commerce, national economic growth, job creation, improved living conditions, technological competitiveness and sustainable development, while also upholding the agenda of the President.

Deputy Secretary of Commerce edit edit source

The Deputy Secretary of Commerce, known as the DEPSECCOM, is responsible for assisting the Secretary in their duties, while managing any concerns that may interfere in the Department's agenda. When not managing the agenda, they generally ensure that the Secretary is fully informed on the status of the department and consult with them in-regards to any future changes that may be needed for a progression in the department. The Deputy Secretary responds to the Secretary of Commerce.

The Under Secretary of Commerce for Economic Affairs, known as the USECCOM (EA), is responsible for providing timely economic analysis and disseminating national economic indicators. It serves as the administrator of the department's premier statistical programs. The Under Secretary reports to the Deputy Secretary of Commerce.
