==History==
===Pre-creation and High Rollers===
The developer of Executive Orders, [[ChangesInLatitudes]], used to develop and own a roblox casino game titled High Rollers. This game saw ample success and had a moderate sized following. However, some time in 2024, the game was shut down by Roblox as it violated their Terms of Service.
===Launch and growth===
After the shutdown, Latitudes began to develop a new project titled "Executive Orders" in late July. Latitudes advertised the new game in the High Rollers discord, which saw a huge influx of players. In early August, the game launched and saw very early success, averaging several hundred players in just its first week of being live. Despite the game lacking content, it saw success from the political games community in Roblox, due to tapping into an unclaimed niche. Later on, updates would release weekly updates to the game, adding new content. Updates such as v2.0 "In The Line of Fire", boosted the game's popularity even further.
===Shutdown===
On August 30 2024, Executive Orders was content deleted by ROBLOX. The official purpose for the ban, as stated by ROBLOX, is "trump assassination rally", which was completely false as the game didn't even contain content alluding to such an event, not even rallies, nor even political parties (at the time) for it to be nominally true. Despite many attempts to appeal the decision, it was ultimately reuploaded and (via a poll) rebranded as "Oath of Office", with the Secret Service content, such as the gun, being removed.
===Oath of Office===
Since then, Chesapeake Studios grew abundantly, adding tons of mechanics and roles to the game. On October 22, 2024, Chesapeake Studios created unique merch for the game.
