[[File:Screenshot 2024-10-23 171148.png|thumb|''The interest groups in the game.'']] An interest group is a group of persons that are assigned to their respective interests in an election. The groups are: Russia, Poor, Europe, Middle Class, Rich, China, The Commonwealth, Environmentalists, Defense Industry, Financial Industry, Resources Industry, Technology Industry, Immigrants, Nationalists, and Youth. The candidates in an election can increase their support by passing bills or doing actions that the interest group supports. For example, voting "Yea" on a bill that increases the environmental health of the nation increases your support from Environmentalists. In the game, under "Your Polls" in the Statistics Icon, the meanings of each interest group is described; such as the "Nationalists" where it says: "Nationalists love the USA. Maybe a little bit too much. They want a strong military and don't like spending money (or time) on foreign nations." (Please note this article is in development.) [[Category:Mechanics]]
