Foreign Influence is going to be an expansion of Oath of Office, and it focuses on diplomacy and international relations. The update introduces scores of new elements in the system of foreign affairs that create novel avenues in which players can think and present challenges. This expansion enhances the free-to-play players and the premium alike.

The following features are included for players who purchase the premium expansion:
- Foreign Ambassador to the United States
This feature will add in foreign diplomats based in the United States whom the player will be allowed to build deeper relationships with, negotiate treaties, and handle other sensitive diplomatic crises.

The update includes a number of features to be made freely available to all players:
- Representative to the United Nations
Being representatives of their country, players will be allowed to take part in UN diplomacy. It will include proposing of resolutions, conflict mediation, and setting international policy.
- Expanded Foreign Affairs System
The foreign affair system has been highly overhauled with new mechanics to handle alliances, trade agreements, and foreign aid. Complex international relations further your standing and help reach your objectives.

- Dynamic Diplomacy: Countries respond to player actions in a much more realistic manner, with dynamic shifting alliances and rivalries.
- Global Events: New global crises and opportunities add depth and unpredictability to international gameplay.
- New Challenges: Domestic and foreign policy must be balanced in an ongoing effort to maintain administration popularity and effectiveness.

This expansion continues doing what the last one did to Oath of Office: increasing the scope of gameplay on some of its core elements, namely global diplomacy. It also carries on with the game tradition of immersive and instructive gameplay, with high player engagement.
